The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.

Unlike a person with self-awareness, a person without self-awareness just hits the bottle and doesn’t look back.
My personal experience with what we call autopilot is when I work on my resume. I don’t even think about it all day, but when I get home I’m still very conscious of the fact that I’m still in the middle of working out the kinks of how to be a professional in my field. When I’m on Deathloop though, I’m just watching a bunch of characters in the same room, trying to piece the puzzle together.

These are actually three main types of autopilot.
First of all, autopilot is when we are on autopilot but we don’t realize it. In this case autopilot is for when you’re doing stuff that requires us to stay on autopilot. Most people who think they have autopilot do it by taking on “tasks” that we have no control over and that the tasks require us to stay on autopilot. That means that the tasks are ones we are not even aware we’re doing.
This is how we do things. Our brains are programmed to think we are autopilots, and we tend to think these things are our own thoughts and actions. After all, we don’t realize we have autopilots in our head. So what is autopilotism? If you have autopilot it means the tasks are always the same. We don’t have to make decisions about what we do, or how we do what.
That means that the games we do on autopilot are the same ones we would do if we had no autopilot. It also means we all have autopilot. We are always doing the same things, but we are not aware of the tasks. So the fact that we are making the same decisions and doing the same things in the same ways does not mean that we are on autopilot. We can be aware of the tasks if we are aware of ourselves.
The same things will have to be done by a person with autopilot. A person with autopilot does not have to be aware of the tasks. The task that we do has to be the one that we do the most good.
