The Drowned City is a community for writers who are in a creative slump. We want to help you find your way again.
The Drowned City has a small staff, so we only really have a few writers. We are also a bunch of die-hard fans and enjoy our yearly writers festival. So if you aren’t in a creative slump but think there’s something you should be writing about, then check out The Drowned City. We have a few great articles and a few great writers, so check us out.
You can find out more about the Drowned City in our FAQ.
In our FAQ, we have a few questions. You can find out more about our FAQ here and read our other posts.
Drowned is a story about a small town on the edge of the desert. We know it’s a fairly small town, and so we can’t really comment on how and why we get there. But we do have a few choices for what to do about it. There’s a little bit of content, but a lot of stuff.
The story begins with a little girl named Dylan running away from home and ending up on some strange island. She takes a job at a local hotel and meets up with a bunch of other kids who have gone missing. It gets interesting because one of the other kids is a boy named Dylan that she likes. But then something goes wrong in his life and he disappears.
It is implied that Dylan was taken by a group of Visionaries who used to be his friends but have taken over his life. The story is told from his point of view so that we see what he’s been up to. It’s really cool. It has a little bit of action mixed in with some more of the “filler” content. There’s also a little bit of a mystery to it.
